Hm, and the folder still doesn`t show up? Please connect your macbook with a cable to your router, then go into the router specs, usually its accessable by typing 192.168.1.1 in the browser, if that doesn`t work refer to your router handbook how to access the administration of it.

Then set up a port forwarding for port 8000 to 8003 for both UDP and TCP. For both IPs, the Lemur and your Mac.

see here: http://support.liine.net/customer/porta ... ur-editor-

Does that help?

Hey mark,
thank u for all this support, the router thing i have to test at a later moment (my router is not in my studio).
and yes...the folder isn`t showing up...
i am in the middle of a small production for some some sound-designs...i think i have to let it rest for a moment.
maybe with further updates of bitwig osc-support will become more easier.
if i have a quiter moment i will test your suggestions..
but big big thanks for your extremly fast support!
cheers

Hey no problem. Hope you get that sorted.

timo: Especially on Mac, I wouldn't install into the factory script folder, since that will be overwritten each time you update.
Instead, install the scripts in the user script folder. On the mac it should be in a path like ~/Bitwig Studio/Controller Scripts/

Can't help with the iPad or Lemur though.

Cheers and good luck!

Timo please have a look in Bitwig: view/controler script consol. Does the script show up there?

ah yes..it shows up..with an error message: error scanning control script, syntax error...what ever that means :-)

Post

let me guess, in Line 367? :)

then you still load the old one.

aehm...ok :-) i try again :-)

Post

oh wow..it works!
both over wifi, and over an ad-hoc! cant believe it, that now this thingy is setup :-)

the clip-launcher seems to react weird, in horizontal way (in the arranger view) and also in vertical (mix-view) i cant get any orientation, clip launching seems to me pretty random....but the other pages work great!
some ideas were coming up:

1. mixer-page: a button for metronome and automation would be very nice
2. macro-page: very great! track and device selection is very nice!
3. map-page: previous map and next map doesnt work for me..(i assume, that the "next-map" button should allow, to step to the next 8 parameters of a device.
4. clips: like mentioned..doenst works in my setup..clips get triggered, but with no orientation (mirroring whats going on in bitwig)...a classic 8x8 matrix with scene buttons on the left would be my choice..
5. pad: great! :-)
6. keys: great :-)
7: xy pads.. i read, that this will be an upcoming feature..

but all in all its very nice to have a visual reference at the mixer, macro and device automation and all this stuff!

mark, thanks again for your patience and your great enthusiasm..bitwig-studio grows with people like you, developing such stuff..i am very impressed!

Hi,
Tested.. working except OVR (in mixer tab); i.e. when I press it on Bitwig it responds on Lemur but not the other way around.
Platforms:
Windows, Bitwig 1.0.13. lemur latest version. Script 1.1.

Great Timo! Glad it worked out..

Please also load the new Lemur Project file, the clip launcher is fixed. ;)

The X/Y Pads are a little tricky to set up, you need to go into the Lemur Editor, then select a X/Y Pad, then down on the right you see the pad also selected in that project list. Then deactivate for example the x variable, now you can midi learn just the y variable of a pad.
Then repeat this step for the x variable.

Didn`t find a better solution yet. But cool that you like it. :D

Check out how I fixed it in the TouchOSC template. On the last page there are separate buttons for the X and the Y CCs, just for learning. On a tablet, you should be able to integrate this on the same page as the XYpads maybe. The buttons have just to send the same CC as X or Y of the pad so that they can be learned separately - they have no other function.

Cheers,

Tom
