Hey, it looks like they changed the borders on the inspector like I suggested: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=412913

That's awesome, thanks for listening. :D Looks way better than my mockup.

I think "Deactivate" button in the inspector shouldn't be in "name and color" section?

^Or they could just get rid of the "name and color" label which would make things a bit cleaner as well. I don't think it would be too hard for people to figure out that the text box is the track name and the color picker is self explanatory.

interesting, in what way it was bad in the first place ?

- multi midi channel passthrough* to VSTs? (so we can use u-he with voice per channel midi?)
- poly pressure support through to VSTs? (i.e. not always mapping to things like timbre)
- generic midi port/channel on track input?, so we don't have to create different controllers for each port/channel combo

* i guess this could also be thought of as multi channel input on tracks, rather than munching them all down to midi channel 1 (just like Ableton)
Not too much luck on those fronts.

multi midi channel passthrough:
- No, but you can route a track directly to a VST and select a Midi Channel for it, so you can have 16 Tracks all routed to one instance of for instance Kontakt or Bazille on different Channels.
Not very elegant yet, I know, but it's a first step.
You would still need to use the script to create your 16 inputs.

- No luck with poly pressure. I seem to be the only one thinking it's important... ;-)

Tom

I don't like the icons in routing section, its overloaded for the eyes imho. It was much better and easy for the eyes with just a text.

Presets can contain the audio now, yes. Sampler, Clips etc.

Not bad, but the stretching could change the transients/onsets. Claes now implemented two modes where one of them preserves onsets/transients with higher priority while the other has more priority on smoothness.
There are also three different grain sizes.

IMO they are actually needed to make clear what the routings mean. There are so many options now that I personally am thankful for the icons, even when I know what you mean.
