I have nailed it on my machine. (W7 ) :D
Disabling AeroDesign causes the prob here.
I've enable this crap (Aero) Tracktion runs without any Ghost-Windows

Courious if Win8 has this issue as it has no aero (afaik)

Have just popped in and saw this old thread revived. Aero already disabled. Downloaded 6.19.
Every plug in window i open (Melodyne, Addictive Drums etc) leaves a destructive trail across my screen.
Does NOT happen in any other application. Tracktion is still completely unuseable for me. A real shame.

Well what do you know, theres me thinking graphics at basic level would be best.
I completely mis read BoBoBos post. Had my confirmation bias set at MAX.

Agreed with other posters, this has nothing to do with the amount of ram on your video card, though graphics drivers may play a role. If it doesn't occur in other audio hosts it is likely a T-bug though.

Enabling Aero fixes prob on my W7 machine also. Yes! thanks
