now i see whats wrong. the default setting is diffrent in length and trigger sequencer
there can choose for every sequencer own speed. is very flexible but cost lots work. maybe a easy mode that link all settings to all sequencer can add. if somebody really need diffrent length, he can press unlink button and choose
so if choose for all 1/16 then they play in sync. in init setting all is set to trigger and not to a value. i dont know wy

when set in length same as in trigger then longer notes work. see this screenshot
modulys.jpg
i find it very usefull when can store step length patterns . so i can test sequences with diffrent length patterns and this give other rythms and variations. in kirnu cream, this seem possible, if the length sequence can store and load seperate.

This thing is a full-on beast! I'd of never known about it weren't for a random thread here -- this software should be a sticky on the front page. Thanks for making available! Now, on to tackling the learning curve.

Guys and Girls, I found Modulys when scouting through YouTube to learn a bit about Mulab.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... fUSpEs48WN

Apparently, all MuLab users were able to download Modulys and have it for free if working in MuLab. Correct me if I am wrong. The way I understand it, this was a specific version made solely by MuLab and you only had to work in MuLab and Modulys worked even in the Free mulab version?

If I understand this well by reading internet archives - anyone using MuLab was granted the free license of Modulys. There were some projects like Intermediate, Beginner, and Advanced.

Well, the website is nonexistent by now (http://www.raxntrax.com/) so the project is dead or abandoned?

From what I was able to learn latest version was 3.7.0 November 2020.

Can someone please send me a PM I would like to put my hands on Modulys and these MuLab projects.

I found that but I am either blind or there is no download link to anything related.

For example, you click that link. And then you click on Modulys on the Vinyl Circle. You are then presented with Modulys purchase page and a Modulys Mu link. You click it and end up here: https://web.archive.org/web/20180527044 ... lys_mu.htm

Then they forward you to the MuLab website from that time period. But there is nothing Modulys related on the archived MuLab website.

Which is why I asked here.

It was just the regular version iirc, it just knew
about mulab. I didnt know they went under,
last time i checked they were still at it, a while ago for sure tho. bummer...

Likely i have it somewhere on an old hard disk.

Maybe the website is temporarily down. In any way thanks for helping. Looking forward to someone sharing this.

Shame, looks like the sites gone to the grave.

Honestly, I'm thinking that the later versions of Modulys, didn't unlock in Mulab. Either they stopped accounting for the continuing versions of MuLab or they simply removed that feature. I would not be surprised if one needed deprecated versions of both for it to work.

More likely they just failed to add the Mulab support when the re-wrote Modulys.

I've sent an email to Eric Nassen, the Modulys developer.
Hopefully he'll clarify the situation.

Hope there is some good news. I've been hunting for Modulys (for use with Mulab) and RaX'n'TraX 1.9.6. All I have found is posts by user SQ4 (Eric?) on a PureBasic forum. Mentioned presenting the sources for some of his VSTs, if someone was willing to port them to newer versions of PureBasic.

Yes SQ4 = Eric.

What's the url?

Anyway, feel free to also elaborate on what you find missing most in MUX Modular to recreate Modulys.
