MIDI Program change on u-he

Hmm. Trying to get this to work in Ableton with Repro and Diva. Ableton clips send program change messages on CC#32, not CC#0 or MSB as required by u-he synths as stated previously. Anyone found a workaround for this?

Live sends both MSB and LSB. The Bank field is CC#0, the Sub field is CC#32.

i have tried it on hive and ace, and got the same results. it changes the program, but the first note of the midi clip in ableton live 11 isn't played. i have tried this using the apple silicon version of the plugin and the intel version, in both vst2 and au.
none of the plugins i have tried deal ok with the first note. i have tried a bigger audio buffer on the soundcard, but got the same result.
serum and largo2 choke on the first note. sylenth1 almost gets it right, it does not choke, but it plays the first note slightly different than it should be. i was hoping for u-he plugins to be my weapon of choice for live use, since they cache the presets before the change, but i guess that, for now, i will have to search elsewhere.

If you send a Program Change at the same time as a Note On, the Note On will possibly be cut off before it happens. I don't recall the specifics, but I think it might be related to the suppression of clicks and other artefacts when changing presets.

that is how things are supposed to be in an ableton live performance. you change the midi clip and the clip has a program change and notes. some midi clips have a note on the first step, others dont.
this is one one of the reasons many people just do live performances with audio loops. i find that rather limited.

Hmmm, yeah, I thought of that today.
I'll see if I can find a solution for that, but I can't promise a fix or even a quick solution just yet.
