Some great deals there. I'd like to know whether these products will continue to be supported since Nomad Factory was acquired by Plugivery.

I do like the bus compressor - they gave away free a while back - on some things. It can thicken and provide a nice pump with a dB or two of gain reduction on some sources. I'm tempted by some of the deals based on that fact but I'm aware that stability can be an issue with them. Are there any standout plugins among them? Mainly interested in anything but eq's really.

What's even wilder is if you add 3 or more plugins to the Don't Crack shopping cart you get a percentage discount (more items the greater percentage, mine was 10%). So for $129 (yep I took the plunge!) I got the ISP 3 huge pack thingy, Magma and Bus Driver !

Bet I never use most of the stuff (I always suffer plugin-buyers remose!)

My instant love so far has to be Echoes - http://nomadfactory.com/products/echoes/

Magnetic is also worth it, slap it on any weedy synth for instant meat

Cosmos here we come!

How does the Pulse-Tec compare to, say, Waves Puigtec?

The full bundle price is ridiculous. Makes you wonder if Nomad Factory are in trouble...

Doesn't inspire confidence when you go to download a demo and for everything except Busdriver, Magma and Drumtools they're bundled under "legacy products".

I don't know. It just seems to me that they have separated out the older things that were done by Bernie, that's all.

Anyway, Magma appears to be working fine on my system. Still want to take it through some more paces, but I'm glad it seems to be working without a hitch! :)

+1

I don't feel safe buying unless I know for sure that the plugins will be supported (Windows 11 and beyond) going forward, and not abandoned.

Serial Number Autorization (Up to Five Computers, NO Challenge/Response, NO dongle).

1. Two EQs are combined into one UI in Pulse-Tec.
2. Pulse-Tec is *hella* less expensive (on a per-plug-in price assuming one buys the integral bundle).

In the Magma download this link points to the register page:
http://nomadfactory.com/register/register.html

So no doubt it is Challenge/Response. The serial is of no use without that webpage:

1) Enter your Serial Number in the 'Serial Number' field below.
2) Complete all required fields, Name, Email... when ready, click 'Submit' on the registration web page.
3) Your Activation Code will be displayed immediately on screen and will be additionally sent to your email address.

You get the registration code/serial for Magma with the Don't Crack license email after you buy it. The ISP bundle gives a challenge/response through their installer but generates an .auth file that you can save on your machine if you want to reinstall at a later date, but Magma is just a code.

Magma just a code ? ...I have the latest version and it ask internet connection to generate the auth files...Am I missing something , the only way to always use it in the futur is to bck the auth file.

Post

Mine certainly was just a code - And I downloaded the thing directly from here yesterday (v1.6.6 the download right at the bottom - http://download.plugivery.com/pvdl/?do= ... ows&bid=39 ). It was 9 lots of 4 letters each separated by a '-'
