Well, I bet the odds you sell a VST vs a RE are >1000:1. Happy now?

Well, that's sort of a bad example, as that also seemed to have to do with personal vanities. Which is fair enough of course, we're all just human. Synapse Audio, fxpansion or Rob Papen did quite a few RE's. Just to name 3 "bigger" ones, there are loads of others. Maybe VST is a bigger market, but i have my doubts about 1000:1. Reason is pretty popular.

underwhelming again....even to go from 7 to 9, its just not that enticing... perhaps 10 will be more tempting, email me next year PH
its not really the money, which is kind of ok, but... just the lack of any real innovation, come on PH... look to the future.
how about support for MPE? or even Poly Pressure?, do something only a few DAWs do, rather than copy what others have done for years.

All your comments are completely biased when it comes to reason. Including trying to shut people down when they have anything to say about Reason that you don't agree with.chk071 wrote:Not sure what you mean, as i don't even use Reason. But maybe i'm rather capable of keeping an objective point of view than some other people.
And you don't even use it? It seems like you monitor the forums for reason posts and immediately counter post any and every valid critique that comes up.
Seriously. Do you work for propellerhead or something? I'm just confused by your motivation. You seem to spend a lot of time insulting people who disagree with what they would like to see in a real update.

chk071 Not trying to be mean. I'm just confused by what could motivate any of it. Especially from a non user. I think it's great to chime in when someone is being unfair and mean about propellerhead or any devs..but you don't stop there. You insult and try to dismiss Everything that is constructive as well.

I just don't get this general negative spirit. No matter which host, plugin or whatever, whenever there's an update, the people look like this:

Seriously, i don't get this negative attitude, especially when you scratch the surface, read a sentence about the new features, maybe watch a video, but don't know what the update is really about, and what it can do for you, because you haven't tried it. If there was constructive criticism, fair enough, but the way i see it, this is just pointless negativism. I fail to believe that the people who use Reason professionally do a facepalm, and dismiss every new version, because it doesn't give them what they need. They simply use the program, and embrace what is in there, and embrace what's in the next version. WTH is this first world negativism about everything about? Just don't get it.
