When your program is more than 10 years old and is using a very old graphics framework, it can be a helluva lot of work, indeed.
ok thanx for answering... since I got my retina display as soon as I see something not "retina" I have the impression I need some glasses.

Is Kontakt 5.6 a Free Update from the previous Kontakt 5 version ? I thought it was a paid update ? or was that a mistake ?

It's been resizable for a long time but the new version seems limit the amount you can resize now?

No point - it looks almost the same as the last version, just slightly flatter. Also, the virtual keyboard is no longer coloured - just a narrow strip above it (not an improvement imo).
Any differences must be under the bonnet.

Oops - player-only user here.

This GUI is OK, I think. Fits Win10.

Thanks. I don't mind it.

Is it scalable? The instrument panel that is.

Sorry for the stupid question but what is native access? Is that supposed to supercede the service center in the future? Is it preferred to update through that instead of the service center?

Thanks

There have been some questions about libraries missing or DLL's missing. All of this should be set under Preferences in Native Access. You simply browse to whatever folders you store things in and SAVE that info.

It has a separate option each for 64 bit folder, 32 bit folder, library folder, general install folder, and base download location for backing up).

Great tool. Have no idea about usage data and how that helps, but data can be a really good thing and can save a lot of whining. Better to share info and get a better product in my opinion.
