Very flat looking but I could get used to it.
Loaded NI 60s Drummer and got no sound. Other Instruments seemed to play ok. Not 100% sure yet.
Restarted Computer and am updating Database at present. Should take a day at least.
No idea how sharing my location can improve the quality of Kontakt so I opted out of Usage Data Tracking.

Thanks for the notice -- grabbing it now. I've got 60s Drummer, I'll let you know.

I'm just loading Ableton Live 9 and all Kontakt VSTi DLLs are being rescanned, which means they have been updated.PhilG wrote:Did the 5.6 update install the VST dll on your computer?
These are missing for me after updating.
By the way, I used the traditional install method via the Service Center.
To update KONTAKT, open Native Access and select KONTAKT in the 'Available Updates' tab. Native Access will notify you when KONTAKT is updated.
If you prefer to update KONTAKT using Service Center, open Service Center, click on the Updates tab, select KONTAKT 5.6, and click ‘Download’. Once your download is complete, run the KONTAKT 5.6 update Installer. Once installed, your KONTAKT 5.6 software will be ready for use.

Thank you. I'll give it another go once the Database Updating is complete. Cheers!

The colored keys (for keyswitches etc) have changed. Instead of the whole key being colored, it's just a tiny box at the top of each key. I don't like it...

I wonder are they trying to make it more efficient by removing graphic elements?
