Would like a preference to initialize with (and keep) MC on. Saw there's an HQ preference but none for MC, which is the one I'd want.

I've got an i7 4790k (4ghz) and playing some 4 to 5 note chords on a Brass patch pegged one of my CPU cores. With MC on, I could play without spiking, so I'd like this on by default.

Note, I'd also get spikes when changing patches. Assuming that's expected. All using Windows 10 x64, Studio One 3.5.2 x64, and the VST2 version.

Thanks :)

No HQ is pretty much like great/Divine in Diva with 4x oversampling in the filter, whereas HQ is 8x, i.e. better than Diva (but also required due to greater frequency range in CEM 3320 filters).
Also how come no zzzz mode?
It's always on zZz. Otherwise it would suck 40% or so permanently, even when a voice is idle.

Although it is quite high (with HQ enabled and no voice reallocating though), i find this acceptable considering the quality of the sound. Blown away by this thing!
Same settings, same FL Studio 12.5 x64, but in a Core i7 7700K@4.5 GHz resulting in 19% CPU usage for the first 3 filters, and 24% for the 4th (FL Studio's CPU meter that is...in Windows it's 17% CPU utilization).

Repro-5 looks and sounds gorgeous! Thank you so much for making it!

How do we report bugs? :)

Urs, would it make sense to have such "more than Divine" HQ mode for Diva (and Bazille)? If so, any chance fort to happen someday?

Anyway, Repro-5 sounds stunningly good, congrats! And thanks for the microtuning feature ;)

Time to upgrade for me :hihi: :D

However, i am @ 4 instances at the moment, all playing at highest settings @ 8 voices per instance like this:

so i am not complaining :)

Just post here, our team will wade through the posts from next week. Just try to avoid reporting things we know, as per "Known Issues" in first post :)

As long as there are mysterious side effects of having MC on, e.g. on many instances, we'd rather have people make the conscious decision to turn MC on. In other words, we need more data before we can do this.

Someday. Certainly not before Zebra 3 comes out.

I did the test with a simple 8 voice chord (init preset).

Strangely, my previous favourites show up fine in Repro-1 on Mac in Cubase Sierra, but not in Repro-1 on Nuendo on Windows 10.

I see you implemented the Windows (drag) bug-fix as you did with the Diva beta. Nice!
The interface is stable and responding good when dragging the plugin around. :tu:

Yes, and some tweaks to Repro-1 interface as well. I hope the GUI drag lag fix was implemented in Bazille, Hive, etc. as well.

Ya this thing is killing my cpu. Craps out one core without MC on. MC seems to hover around half the cpu meter in bitwig.
But it's nice to look at a prophet 5 panel again. Was always my favorite to look at.
