Hehehe, it's a rather dry matter... you won't wanna hear anything about it...
Zebra now runs inside the Jewel project facility. Good eh? Just no knobs until now.
I've started writing a Quartz CGContext to .tif converter, to make RGBA bitmaps available for stuff Zebra AU otherwise paints with vector graphics. Not an easy task when you're used to work on 2 x 19 inch monitors and you only have an iBook on tour... (this is necessary, because we want Zebra to work on operating systems prior to XP, and you certainly want antialiased graphics for the knobs...)
Well, besides that, we had a nice weekend! Stefan and his wife (and their cats) are great people! We also went into Super Size Me, which brought me to the conclusion that I better give up some stupid habits, we'll see.
Cheers,
Urs

Nope, it's 100% fresh, natural, home grown C++ code.db wrote:Is Jewel Java based?Urs wrote:Hehehe, it's a rather dry matter... you won't wanna hear anything about it...

EDIT: There is indeed a component for Java that is called Jewel, dunno what it does, though.
There are also dozen other libraries and frameworks that call themselves "Jewel".
I really should think more before chosing a name for my projects...

Maybe you could rename it to Jem. That would be truly outrageous! There's even a theme song for it!stefankuhn wrote:I really should think more before chosing a name for my projects...
Jem...
Jem is excitement!
Oouu Jem...
Jem is adventure!
Ooouu...
Glamour and glitter,
Fashion and fame!
Jem...
Jem is truly outrageous
Truly, truly, truly outrageous
Woo ooo Jem...
Jem
the music's contagious (outrageous)
Jem is my name
No one else is the same
Jem is my name
