The DotEight skin is not in the Themes folder, but it gets installed (it's now the default skin, that's why it's not installed in Themes).
Just right-click anywhere in the GUI so the menu with the available skins comes up, and then choose the DotEight skin. Or open the preferences and set it as your default skin there.

Yay! I was waiting for this even more than Repro1-5 :tu:

In the prior version of Zebra 2, I had this working, and would see folders for the other 2, and could load presets into Zebra2 from there.

Have I done something wrong? Or is this a known issue/thing for 2.8?
You have done nothing wrong. :)
Regular links (or alias links or however they are officially called) won't work anymore.
But you can use symbolic links (symlinks). These will work.
You might have to google how to create a symlink on Windows (since I am not an expert in this I don't want to post a possibly faulty explanation for how to create those symlinks).

Thanks, man - the right click did it. Interestingly, when I go/went to the tools, it wasn't/isn't there - which is where I usually go to switch themes.

I'll be honest: It's supposed to do that.

Urs, whats the best way not to overwrite the current version AU on Mac but still test out the new version? Tx

Download the latest installer from the website so you can always revert to it.

Copy old Zebra2.component on desktop. Install beta. Run. If all is good, delete component from desktop, otherwise put it back. Might involve a few admin authorizations.

Running both versions in parallel: Not meant to be.

This is a way more significant update than I was expecting. The Wave Folder effect is huge, particularly when modulated. Combine what with a comb filter, and you get something approaching physical modeling algos.

I have noticed, however, that the new MSEG editor if a bit glitchy, with a lot of lag. This is only true of the large editor. The small one is performing fine. This is on macOS 10.12.2 on a late 2016 15" Macbook Pro (w/maxed out CPU and GPU).

Lovely new skins! Thank you so much for this and for the free Repro-5 upgrade this year.

I wish everyone at U-he a very happy Christmas!

Read "known issues" in the first post of the thread ;)
