Create your own presets with them and take individual instruments and stems, render the results and then edit the parts that work into your track. There's some interesting stuff you can create with them, but they work better as little highlights for grooves/drums and breakdowns, rather than material you would have playing through a track

I agree! And Soundspot, well, their reputation isn't harmed because they never really had much of a reputation to begin with.SoundPorn wrote: Mon Dec 31, 2018 8:55 am Air's prestige or reputation isn't harmed in the least bit in fact they just had an exclusive liscence with Akai to make vst's for their mpc software. Only reason Air is giving away they're plugins so cheap is because they already made they're money when they were exclusively licensed to Pro Tools for all them years plus the plugs are old but still brilliant.
Glitchmachines is doing just fine and anyone who thinks that their company is somehow lesser than it used to be because they've been having massive discount sales is deluding themselves. In fact, I now have a higher opinion of Glitchmachines than I ever did in the past. I never touched their commercial plugs when they were full price, but now I have just about the whole lot and I use them frequently.

Glitchmachines does far out stuff. The hint is in the name. Comment above is good advice, run them and take bits and pieces. Unless the goal is really far out noises then just run them. Cool dev, too.

its a little bit wrong , Air Musictech and Akai Pro also Sonivox are sold a few years ago to InMusicBrands . its simple clear why they worked for the MPC because they are one Company now .SoundPorn wrote: Mon Dec 31, 2018 8:55 am Air's prestige or reputation isn't harmed in the least bit in fact they just had an exclusive liscence with Akai to make vst's for their mpc software. yeah Glitchmachines' plugins (and even sound packs) are wild beasts to tame. It takes time and lot of exploration to start subtracting interesting results. But the reward comes to the patient ones, for sure. I find their products a bit like a drug, the more you use them the more you keep coming back at them.Russell Grand wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:50 am

And it's a really cool small original dev, not really giving a damn about the others, the trends nor the conventional way of doing things, and Iove that. They always think outside the box, that's rare.

So anybody using Convex? Seems like a cool plugin because a filter, pitch shifter, and delay are a perfect trio of effects to be able to make a controlled outcome and definitely has a nice looking GUI.

I got all plugins from Glitchmachines. They are amazing.
Fracture XT now too has been updated and has a new AND re-sizeable beautiful and most usable GUI. It´s a joy and the plugin is a blast anyway.
Next one with a total overhaul will be the awesome POLYGON sampler. That will be a feast for many.

That's basically my thoughts as well. I totally recommend them.killmaster wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 12:16 amI've found them pretty great in all those categories. Support is top notch and I usually have heard back very quickly, most often the same day. Sound quality is superb to my ears. Usability is superb and documentation is pretty thorough. The only gripe I have is I really wish I could see the modulations update in real time within the interfaces, but they don't. And how they implement program change is not consistent from plugin to plugin, but that is only a gripe cause I have a need for this cause of the way I make music. After all these years, I'm still interested in their new products. Similar but somehow also unique in their own ways. Lots of respect.martinjuenke wrote:Found virtually nothing in Effects section about their products and themselves...
So, has somebody an opinion about their quality, usability, support etc?

I'd like to mention how awesome the Glitchmachines sample packs are -- people (rightly) discuss their plugins but the samples are also excellent, especially the foley packs (Idiom, Dialect, & Metaphor). Lots of wild stuff in there for creative sound design, especially in conjunction with the plugins.

Again, I deeply recommend all of the Glitchmachines plugins and samples. Buy them from sales or full price from the dev, just get them all
