But in the end we are all paying customers, it makes perfect sense to be 'selfish'. We want a working product and we want it now. That said, most of us are patient and willing to accept that this takes time - but the almost total lack of communication from Jules/Mackie is straining this patience. This thread is another example of that strain.
And no offense Rack Bitz but all that swearing is f**king annoying and uncalled for.

i also have a macki mixer (32-8-2 analog) and i'm happy that mackie get's things done for jules. he said it's good for him so he has more time, but for what ?! where are the bugfixes ? i understand, that jules must make some money with tracktion after long time spending only time and money in development, but is this the right way. why not setting up a bugreport site. and what makes you believe, he reads all the bugs discussed in here ? i know that he have missed many bugs in the last monthes. and was the close working between the developer and the user not a BIG reason for many customers to buy tracktion ! it's like taking a feature away from it. i'll bet it's the wrong way!! live 4 is out and it is a very strong contender for tracktion. i'll bet T2 will be a fine piece of software. but from "hey jules this thing doesn't work" "ok, i'll take a look this night" or "hi folks, this is my new idea for tracktion, what do you think about it" to simply nothing is a BIG step. on the long run this doesn't work and it's getting like cubase.net in here

Rack Bitz-- I'm not taking all the cursing personally, and it's not that I fail to see the humour in it... but... well... it's still not necessary; I don't give a rat's ass how you speak in your day-to-day, but I find it unlikely that you use expletives constantly in all situations. Maybe you have the kind of boss that doesn't care. Maybe you have the kind of family that ALL use expletives (my family uses them plenty), but I'm sure you can imagine SOME situation in which you'd be better off toning it down.

And UNLIKE speaking, as you type a phrase you have the conscious decision whether or not to use them (unlike speaking, when sometimes they just tumble out, unbidden); I suggest you make that conscious decision a few times in a post. Trust me, it won't make you any less the person that you are, and it won't destroy your sense of yourself.

It must have been observed previously but it should be mentioned again - If you don't like it, don't buy it!
I used to work in a musical equiptment repair shop. The guy I worked with could barely complete a sentence without M_F-ing this or C_S-ing that and very shortly these terms lost any real value for the appropriate "punctuation". If used correctly, profantity is very effective for creating the right emphasis. If not, IMO the speaker/writer just sounds silly.
And, nobody wants to sound f**king silly do they???
