Same here. Buying the bundle, waiting 9 month to sell 4 plugins again seems like too much headache, but then again...

I doubt that the marketing machine of NI would allow any adjustments to the campaign.

I think that you will receive separated serials, so you won't need to wait 9 months, but you will need to check this with U-He or NI support.

Do i have to be worried about U-he future now? I hope not.

I'm sure this has something to do with the pending release of behringer pro1!!

Why do you think that? I'm pretty sure they are fine.

Damn! Promised myself I wouldn't buy a single U-He product to avoid the Pokemon effect. But I have just noticed both Diva and Repro have wooden end cheeks! :help:

Worried that they'll be rolling in so much money they'll stop making plugins maybe :hihi:

I just thought we never see any sales with U-he products. So i just hope they do still fine and do not try to go just for the masses now like everyone else.

How dare they? :P

But, seriously, if u-he isn't for the masses, then i don't know. One of the bigger names in the plugin business. If then, their plugins are not quite for the masses, because they often have features which cater a bit more to the geeky crowd. I can't say Diva is very complicated though. Perfect for a simple person like me (as is Hive).

Exactly!! U-he is one of the most popular, for sure. I would say their synths are simple in concept, but deep in. their realization. They model simple old instruments, but the modelling is deep and thorough and the product is high quality.
I love their stuff, and i spend the last few years mostly using obscure modular synths. It's companies like U-he and Xils that re introduced me to the beautiful simplicity of analog synths. They are all about the sound! Rather than having 50 million layers and 5 thousand lfo's

I think its great that they are doing a sale. Ans mark my word, this sale is not because they aren't doing well, or they are changing their business model -
its because Behringer is about to release a Pro 1 clone for 300 bucks. That will inevitably effect sales.
I myself was planning on buying one on release.....was going to put off buying repro until afterwards.
But now i have a hard choice to make.
Good decision on their part. Shows they are engaged with whats happening

Post

Pro-1 clone isn't happening until way later this year, that's not the reason for this deal. (VC-340, MS-101 and Odyssey, maybe also RD-808 are rolling in first.) Also, negotiating this sort of deal takes some time, too. u-he and NI likely started discussing about this months before.

Also don't forget that with Repro you get the polyphonic Prophet-5 plugin as well, which you don't get with Behringer's clone :)

£64.50 for repro1/5 is insane, someone must be losing money on this deal :o
Marginal cost for digital products is 0. Nobody loses money. ;)
Hehehe, we trained extra staff in customer support for this day. All magic comes with a price.
I hope they can keep up with the registrations.. Still anxiously awaiting my code. :-)

Did you check your spam folder? I got mine pretty quickly. Can't imagine that they send them out manually.

Did you get your actual serial from U-He quickly or just the first Native Instruments email. It's been a couple hours and haven't got mine yet.

Post

I got the NI mail, then i went to u-he's site, to request a serial with the code i got from NI, and then i got a mail from u-he shortly after (not more than a few minutes).
