i saw him crack himself up in concert once with a very cheesy 'red moon rising' spotlight effect on 'there's a red red moon rising on the Cuyahoga River' line
'let's drop the big one see what happens'
etc. etc.,
David Bromberg way back when, had his moments as well -- when all those other blues players were all so serious and studied
