I started my who studio and record label on Nuendo 1. It was by far the best decision at the time. Pro-Tool was selling all the hardware and software at an HUGE market up and I could just run. It was 10 years ahead of its time.

I now run Bitwig and Tracktion's Waveform 10. Reason = Doggle!!! Copy protection that hurts real customers gets no support from me.
-------------------
Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

Yes, evidence is over-rated, much better to make up your mind based on nothing more than the weather and how hot your morning coffee was.
chk071 wrote: Tue Jul 30, 2019 11:14 amYou know, of course some forums are more strict than others. But, i haven't in my entire presence on internet forums witnessed something remotely similar to what's described in the OP.
Well, you wouldn't, would you? User gets banned, thread gets removed, no evidence to speak of. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, as the videos posted by tooneba clearly show.

AsPeeXXXVIII wrote: Tue Jul 30, 2019 10:57 am Wait, seriously? People are getting banned over reporting legitimate issues they're having with their software?
Nope.

You know the deal. Guy gets banned, gets sore about it. Sees other people who got banned over "reporting legitimate issues", in other words, getting insultive and abusive. Guy posts on another forum about it, seeks sympathy, and like-mindedness. I've seen it at least a dozen times now, on several forums. Noone gets banned over reporting legitimate issues.

Yes, you don‘t need any proove because what you know and what you say is true :nutter: :nutter: :nutter:
just like apps you don‘t own but can tell if it‘s good or not...

No, i just ask myself why you always defend Steinberg even without knowledge of some sort (as you proved by discussing Cubasis without even owning it)...

Post

Because behavior as presented by the OP is simply idiotic. No forum mod anywhere bans you for asking for help for certain issues. And, of course you are still sauer on me. Otherwise you wouldn't stalk me wherever you can. Sorry for posting the truth. Here and in the topic you're still so sore about.

Post

To stay on topic: Steinberg mods love to do some cleansing at least. Happened twice to me that they changed my thread titles to something more Steinberg friendly. Didn‘t run into heavy mod actions but they really do love keeping their fora very very cheerfull...

Would be interesting to know what exactly you posted. I've seen you at least half a dozen times posting some pretty aggressive stuff towards developers/companies. But, i'm sure it was totally harmless, and the removal completely unrighteous, right?

Post

What would happen if companies started changing and deleting customer reviews of products?
This isn't a 1 star product, delete that review. There we go more 4 and 5 star customer reviews!

That would be the day that customer feedback and opinions died. Maybe they can get artificial intelligence to leave customer reviews instead, problem solved.

Fanboi's gonna fan. Despite some of us obviously stating we've seen questionable behavior there is always some yahoo that thinks it's all perfectly normal. It just so happens that this one is on my foe list, imagine that :hihi:

I've never seen many issues over at the Steinberg forums, simply as I hardly ever use them these days, I get better answers here.

But the support is absolutely awful, and the people doing the support are complete asshats. After a recent exchange with one, they got pissy and started sarcastically answering me, in the end I gave up. But it just shows the type of arrogant asshat they are hiring these days for support, or the fact they simply cannot cope with the volume of issues, especially with Cubase 10 which seemed completely broken on release judging by the sheer volume of issues people were having. Either way, they need to up their game in terms of support. 4 weeks isn't an acceptable response time for potentially a deal breaking problem.

Dermichi, ignore chk071's blind positivity towards steinberg, he's just their biggest KVR fanboi.

His name is dermichl, and i hardy use any Steinberg products. ;) The only ones i still use are the Symphonic Orchestra, and Wavelab, very rarely. I switched from Cubase years ago.

The thing is, there is nothing rational about the OP's point of view. Of course he was banned for abuse, and, of course you won't be banned for normal support requests. No idea why some people have to act in such a stupid way.

Oh, and many Steinberg forum mods aren't even Steinberg employees. But, i guess that's another thing the respective people won't get into their stubborn minds. https://www.steinberg.net/forums/member ... =group&g=4
