Is there a way to import old shaperbox instances into the new version?

Not directly, but you can load your SB1 presets into SB2: In SB1, make sure your presets are Synced (they can still be Private), and then Sync SB2. So if you have a project containing SB1 instances, you can replace them with SB2 using this method. Note that you would have to recreate any DAW automation (perhaps your DAW lets you copy/paste it between lanes, though).

ok, cool, that's doable. i was afraid I'd have to reconstruct things by hand.

I had that issue with shaperbox 1.
Support said some Daw's don't allow not https connections on mac (I could do it in nuendo on my pc). they suggested if I had another Daw (including the free garage (which I long ago deleted), I could do the sync there. From memory I think Studio One Pro 3.5 allowed me to do the sync.

So far, with SB2, I don't get the error although Nuendo on PC did say downloading 2000+ presets, I didn't see such a download in Cubase on mac.

As said, we support HiDPI. On these, the UI is simply scaled by factor 2 and looks crisp and sharp.

A user-definable scaling is certainly something we want to work on in future.

It's a separate plugin, so you can have both installed at the same time with no problems, and your old projects will load with SB1.

I’ve emailed support and hope to get it resolved quickly so I can use it.

Edit : got an email saying my “account doesn’t exist with my email address, sorry”
It does though... messed up!

You cannot trigger the LFO from the envelope follower. You can retrigger the LFO via MIDI – enable MIDI Trigger and send it MIDI notes.

Mine didn’t, even though I used my account email.
So I can’t use it, they’re saying I don’t have an account but I do....

The AU and VST versions do share the same presets. Saving a preset in either will put it in the My Presets section of the library for both versions.
