Are you on mac? I don't know the names of the folders sorry. On windows all the installation stuff goes in C/ProgramData/MeldaProduction. You will know when you find the right folder as it will have a folder in there named LIB. The way you suggested the naming is correct.

Thanks—found the LIB Folder:)

Does the .active file go in the LIB folder or the folder that contains the LIB one? And once where it needs to be, then what?

Post

Not in the LIB folder. In the folder that contains it.
Then that's it. Just open the plugin.

Got it—thanks again!

-- insert MCCGenerator on a track with an audio clip,
-- set a Modulator to be a Follower and set one of the CC values to be the target of the Modulator,
-- then insert another MeldaProduction plug-in and use its [MIDI] Settings to map that CC# to the parameter(s) of your choice.
Cool! I bet there's a way to leverage this idea to convert the shapes you can draw in Gatekeeper into MIDI CC data, another long-wished for thing. Thoughts on how to do this when MCCG is modulating a MIDI instrument on another track? In Logic, say, or Live?
Logic—Bidule MIDI FX FTW:

Note the use of the MOscillator as the audio source for Gatekeeper—elegant!
Not yet fiddled with the Follower controls to improve the shape match between Gatekeeper and MCCGen, but did after the screen grab—MUCH better!:)

Live—SideChain FTW:

Used a not-yet well-edited sample for the Live example, which is no doubt part of why the curves don't match between Gatekeeper and MCCGen—but getting there!:)

Oh wow. This is kind of huge. Thanks for this.
Now everyone can see why the Peak Controller in FL Studio is so amazing.
I really hope this gets attention and development.

I've been waiting a long time for this: MCCGenerator now works in Logic (v12) as a "MIDI Controlled Effect."

Details here: https://www.logicprohelp.com/forums/top ... t-is-over/ (https://www.logicprohelp.com/forums/topic/163316-melda-mccgenerator-with-logic-12-the-wait-is-over/) (ETA: apparently, because I've never posted before, this link will not quite work; screenshots attached, hope this helps)

Logic-and-Melda-loving-CC-heads rejoice!
