I tried the demo for a short period of time, but it didn't click with me (too much options maybe?); will demo some more. On the other hand, Tekturon was instant love; also much easier to program imho.
Yeah, it can be a little overwhelming. The "mix view" gives you all parameters on one page - once you get used to it, it's a breeze to edit. But workflow can be a very individual thing, and it's important to use things that click with you rather than spend hours learning something that's counterintuitive for you.
I somehow skipped Tekturon, I see it also has the 16 lines paradigm. I would miss the distortions and the chorus, however!

ReelBus 4 or K7D.

In no particular order:
Valhalla V-delay
Audio Thing Outer Space
u-he Satin
Audio Thing Reels
TAL Dub-X
And Cubase’s stock delays for generic needs.

for my IDM music -- Sandman Pro
for my Industrial Music -- Replika XT, sometimes Sandman
for my 'retro' synth music -- Valhalla Delay

I could live happily with any one of those three, but since I'm spoiled and have all three, that's usually how their usage plays out...

Echoboy, Valhalla Delay, Replika XT, and EchoCat (Wavesfactory)... but lately I've been using McDSP EC300 more and more... I like that it runs on magic instead of CPU.

..Byome and Triad has great granular delay effects - I'm sometimes lost for hours
messing with them (reverb,RESONATOR,distortion) - (to spice up) run in parallel.. :ud:

There is so much in there - also Sandman Pro and d16 Sigmund ( some glitch eff. is possible there)

and never forget the AAS Objeq !

Echoboy a cpu killer? Sorry, Echoboy must be one of the most cpu efficient plugins around. But have to agree with Replika XT, it uses way too much cpu for what it does compared to competition.
Echoboy eats more cpu than Valhalla Delay in any case, and it adds some latency.
For me Valhalla wins, though Echoboy sounds very good too.Those2 delays are my favourites, then ReplikaXT.

Cool! As I said, I'll continue to demo it. Also, as with EAReverb 2, the GUI is kinda small. And they don't have sales... :(

Tekturon sounds very clean to me and I think it's a bit more CPU intensive; but you should definitely try it.

oh sweet! another list your favorite vst delay thread!!!!!!!

The OP didn't mention his preferred flavours or which old plugin he's been using.
I just discovered Kuassa's DL3606, and it sounds great for very low price, usually $25, now on special for $15 iirc.
5 delay flavours, digital, BBD, tape, lo-fi, and reverse... which actually works pretty well.
Modulation of echoes, and all the usual mono/stereo, tempo sync options.
So it's not just a guitar delay pedal.
Very easy to dial in some tasty bread n butter stuff. I want it :)

Deliberately. Not in the original post. But, this far down into the comments, it's fine to mention it.
I've been using TAL-Dub 2 (not Dub X). The drive and mod seem to get the color I want for the delay and add a nice character. I mostly just sync the delay to the BPM, I don't really use delay's to create rhythmic textures. Just to add space and/or character.

If you want, you can take the time to read the comments where someone has already pointed out the same thing and I equally responded with an apology, but it seems deft to continually make the same apology so this will be the last time I point this out. I think beyond this point it is just foolish to make the same post on this thread.

If it has a generous demo, I'm willing to give it a shot. Sounds fun.
