What do you mean by tracks?
I was able to select multiple 'volume and pan plugins' ( the default at the right side of each track ) by ctrl+click and pull the volume and pan and they all worked
Ah, I see. You've always been able to do that, but with the filters you need to click them individually. There is a 'select all plugins of this type' option, but I use two volume/pan filters per track so that doesn't work out. Would be nice if it worked just like with the mixer, but at the actual volume/pan filter on the edit window (repeating myself, sorry).mikoatkvr wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 2:08 am

Seems like a bit of a context issue to me. Selecting tracks in the main edit view is different from selecting mixer lanes in the mixer. I personally wouldn't want track selection to work that way.Kang wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 1:41 am It did not work on the edit window for me, which is where I'd most like to see it.

Thank for report. Fixed the first issue, will think about the second.asprog wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 5:20 pm BR: recent edits are only parts of Active Projects and Library Projects folders, not of other folders,
FR: could it be possible to sort and show/hide Project Templates?
Old way will be back in the next beta as an option.Kang wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 7:33 am Another reason the old cursor action is better.
You basically got a free "click to locate" out of it because you could double click or click with the slightest drag to locate the cursor, but since it didn't immediately locate on the first click (as it does now) you could select clips while still having your cursor stay where you want it. Now the cursor moves to wherever you click to select a clip, ruining your editing point. Some of my macros and key commands have become obsolete, editing is way less intuitive. I'm excited about some of the new features, but will probably stick with 11.1 if this is the way forward.
IMO, your request makes more sense in a DAW that has specific, hard-coded volume controls at the end of each track. In Waveform, this is faked in the mixer view but the edit view has no such constraints. That's what I mean by context. What should you expect to happen in the edit view if you select multiple tracks and change the volume in one of several volume plugins on one of the tracks? This is visually sorted out in the mixer view by having only the last plugin on each track be THE volume.Kang wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 5:55 pm I don't quite follow. When you select tracks in the edit window it is the same thing as selecting on the mixer, they will both be highlighted. Why can't you now control the volume from one of the filters that gets controlled by the mixer anyways? I don't think that changes track selection at all.
Fair enough, I feel like they could figure out an elegant way to do it, but I get what you are saying. I'm just spit-balling, I for one do this type of thing (multiple selecting volume filters) ALL the time. I'm VERY happy with the new feature as it speeds up my workflow in that regard (even if I do have to use the mixer nowpough wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 7:37 pmIMO, your request makes more sense in a DAW that has specific, hard-coded volume controls at the end of each track. Having said all that... I just realized that I have never wanted to change multiple volumes and might not ever want to do that, so I'll just bow out of this discussion after explaining what I meant.
Yes! Made my day.
