With something like Kontakt, I wouldn't pay full price simply because I know there will be a sale at least once a year.

I'm like that with most software nowadays. If introductory offers don't count as full price then I think the last full price item I bought was Valhalla's Ubermod about 5/6 years ago because I know they don't do sales. I know everything else will come along cheaper at some point so happy to wait, not a professional who needs the latest shiny now.

Actually if PWYW counts (technically no 'full' price?) then Invader2 was my last not discounted purchase.
