but Karl was never the one who took those kind of decisions at Steinberg. Not even when Steinberg was still independent. It was Manfred Rürup (the co-founder) who managed Steinberg since the very beginning, while Karl Steinberg took care of the development and technical aspects.

C11.0 wasn't hanging on quit, or close project while leaving the application running, until last week, now it's doing both, most of the time.
Not really a very shocking development.

What changed? I'm not aware of any recent Cubase update. Did you update the OS or something?
