Yes Syntronik 2 is M1 compatible.

Also, SampleTank 4 has been updated and is M1 native and you can run these in there (the update is out to support Syntronik 2 specifically of course but has some other changes/updates too):

SampleTank 4.1.5 is now available. What's new:

• Added support for Syntronik 2 libraries
• Native support of Apple M1 processor
• AAX SDK update to 2.4.0
• General reliability improvements

Nice, now that sounds really good, looking forward to try that out.

I have a question though what does "host but not upgrade" mean in this context? What features will be available for my Syntronik 1 synths if I dowload Syntronik 2 CS and what is missing until I pay full price?

Anybody with authorization issues or people with the products mentioned above who aren't seeing what they should authorized, please try the following:

Load the IK Product Manager

UNauthorize the Syntronik 2 there

Next, Re-Authorize it again

Custom Shop Application location:
MAC: HD > Applications > Custom Shop
PC: Start > Programs > IK Multimedia > Custom Shop

Load the Custom Shop application from the location above

At the top go to your account name > Restore My Purchases

All your modules, etc should be unlocked.

Doesn't work. Has anyone got it authorised?

I have Syntronik 1 and everything works fine there, I install Syntronik 2 Cs and it asks me for authorization for the instruments. Say clearly if the libraries of the previous edition work in Syntronik 2 Cs, if not, don't waste our time.

I think it's just broken, I cant even get the free stuff that comes with CS to work let alone my Syntronik 1 stuff

If I get this right, i just bought Studio MAX 3.5 yesterday, and I can upgrade to Syntronik 2, but I don't get the synths? They will have to be purchased separately through CS, or I need to pay €199 + sales tax to get them?

My understanding was that you get all the synths (the full product) free/included with 3.5.

There are 22 synths available in Syntronik 2, the same amount as in Syntronik 1. You need to upgrade to Syntronik 2 MAX to get all 33, and it will cost me €149 + sales tax, while I guess US people would pay $149 with no tax, since IKM don't have a conversion between EUR and USD.

Hey Peter - Just checked now in Custom Shop and see that can't buy this with gear credits – clicking Buy in Custom Shop sends you to the IK website with Syntronik 2 in the cart. Will we be able to buy with gear credits?

I can now just use the free stuff in 2 CS after un-registering/re-registering and then rescanning.

I still cant use any of my Syntronic 1 stuff in 2, everything shows as unregistered. I am now also beginning to doubt if you can use the stuff you own in Syntronic 2 as the custom shops shows everything I own but with a '2' after it and for sale...so maybe they do expect you to buy them again?

Anyway- another chaotic IK release that no one seems to really understand with multiple version's, confusing upgrades and customs shops built in...honestly

Peter, since Sample Tank 4 is M1 compatible will I be able to load all of my Sample Tank based libraries (pretty much all of them from the last group buy), into it and use them natively?

I'm hoping this is the case in general with your products, that Amplitube and T-Racks Also load all libraries or plug ins into their interfaces as native etc.

I own Syntronik 1 but never use it these days. What new features would version 2 bring ?

IK Syntronik 2 is out (looks like 'MAX' version required to get new synths)
