Just added another one. Maybe it will go viral…; - )

I hope this ends some day.
I'm sorry to hear this. Time has moved very strangely over the past two years.

On a flip side we have Zebra 3 just being called Phase Plant and is made by Kilohearts. And it has sample import :-)

You joke, but for the past months I've been looking into a synth to appease my Zebra 3 desire (and frustration). After looking for alternatives and trying lots of synths like Pigments and Falcon, Phase Plant is the only one that has captured my attention.

Like Zebra 2, it really ticks all the boxes for me: sound, workflow, UI, flexibility, etc.

Post

phase plant is good, but the factory presets in zeebra are better :)

Post

Been coming for 10 years, safe to say it's vapourware.
Prove me wrong!

I agree, but I don't care about factory presets.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ofc its a joke but Phase Plant does remind Zebra alot by its architecture and everything else like workflow :-)

I know it was probably a joke, but that's honestly a really toxic attitude. Sort of like I was saying before in my previous post, these are human beings. You don't think they've been trying to make this synth for the past ten years and there's always been something in the way or a hard decision that needed to be made?

They don't have to prove anything to anybody. It will happen when it happens and I'm sure, when Z3 comes out, u-he will be the ones who'll get the most satisfaction because they finally did something they always wanted to do.

(also it's not vaporware because much of the underlying technologies that will go into Z3 has been made over the past ten years through other synths like Hive's wavetable playback and efficient zero delay feedback filters, Repro's voice management, the patch library, and so on...)

And also U-He have learned a lot of stuff during the past 10 years. Not only DSP stuff, but also UI design and performance, product development, etc.

Zebra 3 will be better because of that.

This will start the moment we leak a screenshot of an early alpha version.
