As far as I understand, linked lowering or increasing thresholds by a specific amount of dB is the same as changing the input gain. So you can get that effect very easily already without having to first select all bands. You would only need to adjust the output gain by the inverse amount.

Yes good call that's a perfectly viable workaround for the threshold but there are still lots of other parameters that would benefit from being linked. I don't think it would be difficult to code so I hope linking makes it into a future revision.

There is no input gain, doing it before the plugin would get very messy if you were auditioning different plugins.BerryLaCroix wrote: Thu Aug 04, 2022 1:14 am As far as I understand, linked lowering or increasing thresholds by a specific amount of dB is the same as changing the input gain. Higher ratios and input gain per band would be extremely useful, especially for OTT stuff.

so true - an incredible deal for this high quality bit of kit. I think Toneboosters have improved their UI design for this one as wellkmonkey wrote: Fri Aug 05, 2022 5:54 am Quite an amazing release. And of course, followed by silly feature requests and "enhancements" from KVR product specialists.

Quite amazing that a request from another user, that you may not use is silly, just because you wouldn't use it, closed minded much?kmonkey wrote: Fri Aug 05, 2022 5:54 am Quite an amazing release. And of course, followed by silly feature requests and "enhancements" from KVR product specialists.

Well I think many developers don't have the time/don't want to go through competitors' releases and find out which major features on very similar products are standard. So it's up to beta testers—and yes—armchair specialists to bring these things out in the open. I think that's better than hard-passing and not saying anything.kmonkey wrote: Fri Aug 05, 2022 5:54 am Quite an amazing release. Now like it was mentioned here ToneBoosters didn't go out and announce a "world-first" or "best-in-class" like other developers do, without realising that their unique, magical feature has been available elsewhere for years!

I may have found a bug.
Saturation -100%, Drive 40dB leads to the stereo image heavily shifting to the left. Even on mono material. Also, saturation 100% and drive around 20dB leads to an image that is shifted slightly right. Again, 100% mono material.
Tested using a single band. No multiband split.

Does it happen anywhere but at the extremes? Like, is it fine at 90, + or -?

Exactly! Best marketing tactic ever. Low key releases seem to always get more attention and interest than long in the tooth announcements. Someone say phosyon 2?!enroe wrote: Wed Aug 03, 2022 2:05 pmTo be honest, I really like THAT! Not even a 'Out now!' feature on the main page of the website. Weird.

If you look in plugin doctor, the image pans L/R without even touching drive. Drive just exacerbates the issues.
odd enough the issue disappears with same settings if you add another band
no, it happens progressively.amanamission wrote: Sat Aug 06, 2022 3:05 am Does it happen anywhere but at the extremes? Like, is it fine at 90, + or -?
