Same here, huge fan. But did I read correctly: "negative saturation"? What a killer feature that would be if it could "clean up" a signal. Intrigued to find out what this actually does.

No, I think it means it does for saturation what an expander does for dynamics - less input gain means more saturation and vice versa, instead of the other way around...

Have a look at STA Enhancer, it kind of does that to your midrange. It can be very heavy-handed but it mostly works a treat.

They probably mean that the transfer functions curve for the waveshaper is inversed in its curvature to "expand" the function

It's the same thing with Chris Airwindows Console's approach, minus the companding bit

Either that, or it's simply referring to asymmetry

Looks good but what I wish for is a modern version of FlX. I guess with Eq 4, combined with this new plugin, you'd get the same functionality.

Doubtful, looks like it has a tickbox for upward, so unlikely to do downward and upward at the same time with individual controls, so you will need two instances.
