The sheer amount of different fx and filters in Kontakt will be very hard to replace, let alone all the routing possibilities and playback options. So for a native version offering these kind of things you'll end up with either a recreation of Kontakt, or a crippled instrument.
I for one use Revolution with a lot of Kontakt's own possibilities, and cannot imagine a native version ever including all that stuff. Even looking at basic stuff like pitching/stretching or filtering, i think it will be hard to make a native version which will even get close to what's possible in Kontakt.
I would rather like to see stuff supporting either Falcon and/or Halion, or even Battery, then a limited native version.
But i wish them good luck. Maybe it'll attract some new customers. But i for one hope that it won't be the dead of their Kontakt support.

First and foremost, we are talking here about recreating TRIAZ as a native plugin, not recreating Kontakt. We are of course not setting out to replace Kontakt here or planning to open it up for 3rd party developers or anything of this nature.
The native version of TRIAZ will be (well, already is) a lot better than the Kontakt version. Some of the differences that make it better are:
1. Lightening fast load times
2. Resizable UI and vector graphics
3. Lower CPU consumption
4. Audio export drag and drop (both full mix and stems)
5. Advanced sequencer record features
6. Assign any parameter on the UI (by right-clicking) to motion sequencer lanes for parameter sequencing
7. Expansion support - we will be releasing lots of expansions for TRIAZ, with preset patterns and new sounds, pre-tagged and ready to go
8. In built preset browser with playlist creation, previewing presets at different speeds, tagging and expansions, search bar etc
9. Custom DSP built specifically for drums
10. User sample organization and tagging
11. Bulk user sample import
And much more. And this is just touching the surface. None of the above would technically be possible in Kontakt, although I guess there is technically now the ability to add high-dpi graphics in Kontakt 7 at least.
Of course, we won't have 50 different filters or effects to start with, but neither did TRIAZ Kontakt unless you open the Wrench view and customize this stuff yourself. But we have all the effects we had in TRIAZ, which we have re-built

Will Drumvolution also be in its own native plug-in or perhaps as an expansion in the native version of triaz? Also beat lab looks intriguing but it appears to just be raw samples. That is great but I like to have presets so I guess it is a no go for me. Since new native plugins are coming and beat lab is going to disappear this month, I guess it isn’t right for me as it won’t have a future of being included in one of these other plugins. Exciting things in the works for you guys!

The Drumvolution library will very likely be an expansion that can be loaded into TRIAZ, which makes sense to us. Of course if you own Drumvolution, you'll get that expansion for freecomposingkeys3 wrote: Mon Jan 02, 2023 9:12 pm Will Drumvolution also be in its own native plug-in or perhaps as an expansion in the native version of triaz? We'll also do the same for some of our other drum packs too, like Synth Drums for example.
That is correct about Beat Lab - you are right that it doesn't have presets. It's an incredibly unique and interesting sounding collection of drums though, and very different in tone to anything we've done before. Playing back vintage drum machines through really amazing sounding acoustic spaces and picking them up with vintage mics really gives a new perspective to those classic sounds. But it's not just about drum machines - we recorded a ton of acoustic and percussive content too for Beat Lab. In case you are interested, here are the two studios we recorded in when creating Beat Lab:

Both have beautiful sounding rooms for drums

Hey Wave Alchemy,
Appreciate you responding directly in here. If I own Triaz, will Beat Lab be able to import directly into the native Triaz version with automatic tagging and all of that? Just wondering if there is any kind of integration for Beat Lab to work in Triaz smoothly.

Also, if I understand revolution will be replaced by revolution 2 in a native plug-in. Is this a free update for revolution 1 owners, an upgrade, or a new product with no upgrade path? Just figuring if it makes sense to buy revolution 1 as it is or wait. I am more interested in the native future version of what revolution 2 will be than its current state. Thank you.

yeah it is so much fun adding fx and routing inside the kontakt framework. if you work at low res perhaps. I rather eat a box of screws than doing that.

Revoluton 2 (or whatever we decide to name it) won't be a free update, but there will be a nice upgrade path for Revolution 1 owners. The reason being that this will be quite vastly different to the Kontakt version. For a start, Revolution 2 will include not 14, but 42 drum machine emulationscomposingkeys3 wrote: Tue Jan 03, 2023 7:57 am Also, if I understand revolution will be replaced by revolution 2 in a native plug-in. We've even re-done the classic 808/909 etc from scratch for Revolution 2. Not a single sound has been ported from Revolution 1. In addition you'll also get a much more involved sequencer, with parameter sequencing, expansion capabilities, and tons more improvements

I will talk to our team and get back to you on this. But if it's just tagging you are interested in, TRIAZ native should be able to auto-tag drums based on folder structure.composingkeys3 wrote: Tue Jan 03, 2023 5:25 am Hey Wave Alchemy,

So, if you dragged in the Beat Lab library into the TRIAZ samples folder, it would show in the TRIAZ browser automatically as being tagged as:
Folder 1 — Expansion Name (i.e Beat Lab)
Folder 2 — Drum Type (i.e Kick)
Folder 3 — Tag (i.e processing type in the case of Beat Lab)
The same goes for any third party library you may have.

Just saw this message from Wave Alchemy in another notorious forum:
And, finally, to give you guys a sneak peak as to what is next... If you don't like pink, no worries, the UI has 4 skin colour options including classic Black
There is also a gate, currently missing from this screenshot. We'll also probably give a little discount on this for all people who own Pulse.
