Picked up Augmented Brass about a week ago for $29. Load times.. I have no idea. The standalone pops up nearly instantly. Possibly 1 second if I had to guess. Subsequent opens... are easy under a second. System is a M2 mini pro with 16GB RAM.
Augmented Brass has some fantastic presets, and mapped up quickly to my controller.
Maybe it's been mentioned... but the synth engine is no slouch. There's a full/well featured arpeggiator / pattern sequencer / chord sequencer. The effects are familar to anyone who has used Arturia stuff. Point being... someone just looking for a great synth, could use this without the brass samples as a pretty great synth. I know that's not the point of this thing, but that stuff is there, under the sheets..

Not seeing it for $29 anymore, but for $69, and that might be because of my particular Arturia product mix? Like, I'm still on V Collection 8 instead of the current 9.
M1 Mac (OS Monterey), LPX daw, Tascam 16x08 interface, Nektar control surfaces, Tempest drum machine

I have the same issue, €69 when it was €29 a few days ago. I'm on the newest V collection and also own Pigments. No offer advertised in my profile either. They must have removed the intro offer earlier than advertised (if the above date is correct). €69 seems like the regular price for V9 owners?xmiinc wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 12:47 am Not seeing it for $29 anymore, but for $69, and that might be because of my particular Arturia product mix? Edit: a few places (Rekkerd, PB) advertised the intro sale as until the 11th, so press release must be wrong.

Well I tried it and there are a few pretty nice sounding basic sample libraries. Not trying to emulate an orchestra here, just want a few voices and strings for chords and drones. The concept is indeed interesting and sound design is straightforward. I tried the intro version some times ago and wasn't impressed but maybe it improved.zzz00m wrote: Mon May 08, 2023 1:37 amThe Augmented series in intended to be a synth. Not going to replace your sample libraries for classic sounds.grrrz wrote: Sun May 07, 2023 10:35 pm I have the other from V9 but haven't tried it yet; is is usable for classic voice/string sounds without the whole augmented thing?
I really do like how they can blend the synth and sample layers to provide a varied sonic palette. Very playable instrument using just the macros. Plus the advanced view opens up the synth details, so there are opportunities for sound design!

Just checked, the offers for Augmented Brass and Orchestral Trio are back in my accountjezjez wrote: Mon May 15, 2023 9:32 am Got a reply back, they are aware and looking into the issue and will try make sure people who wanted to can get it at the expected discounted price (paraphrased)
I think I'll still pass, the sound isn't really for me. But nice move of them to give us a 2nd chance.

I actually screwed up, was meaning to buy Augmented Brass but for some reason I thought Cinematic Trio was the name for the bundle of the Augmented instruments and so bought that one instead

Yeah, it's definitely confusing. Did nearly the same mistake.jezjez wrote: Tue May 16, 2023 10:43 am I actually screwed up, was meaning to buy Augmented Brass but for some reason I thought Cinematic Trio was the name for the bundle of the Augmented instruments and so bought that one instead![]()

That should be fine, as it’s also an Analog Lab preset bank.davi-dj wrote: Wed May 17, 2023 11:19 am For those who buyed the Cinmatic trio offer: It is possible to play that sounds without having its Augmented instrument buyed? From the Analog Lab
