Damn that video was brutal but much needed. However, a new toy can be inspirational for some, especially for those who never owned a sampler. I think the lack of quality in construction makes it a deal breaker for me, sadly.

I think we all know anyone was a phone has better samplers available for a few bucks than this (probably better than the OP-1) but then may not be as inspiring to use or look as cool on the train. I have an OP-1F so I am I the latter camp, its OK just to have fun toys without having to justify them! :-)

100%. If something inspires you (and doesn't break right away), that's all the justification you need. I just thought it was an interesting video, with a few truth bombs to consider if you're on the fence.
