To setup the ability to make a 'ARP bundle' to go with their 'Oberheim bundle', adding a 2600 at some point in the next year would be part of that bundle, surely.Echoes in the Attic wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 10:47 am Why though. Doesn't the oddity cover this?
Make a 2600!

Thanks much. And I have since found out that the sale price is good through 1-9-24 (so, to be safe assume 1-8-24 because of inherent ambiguity?)

Completely baffled why the sequencer is alway starting from note 12 in a 16 step sequence, rather than note 1.... I've tried multiple times from the INIT patch, and the sequencer alway starts at 12, why !?

In this case it means the standalone version but sometimes it just means a place for supporting files like the manual.
I wish you'd just stop it with your reality, man. Can't you see it's harshing our buzz when all we want to do is make shit up and have people believe it!?!
Anyway, I owned an Axxe in the early 80s and I really didn't think I'd remember what it sounded like, until I started playing through the presets. A couple of the bass patches took me straight back to my room in Townsville in 1985, when I was using it as my bass machine. I decided I'd buy it when I got to "Bass Sequence Up" - what a f**king great sound that has, especially with a bit of tweaking.
It's interesting that some people love the presets because I think most of them are horrible. Exactly the kind of sounds that, as a synth player, make me cringe. But Axxess definitely has a few sweet spots. Whilst I don't necessarily think that 33 quid is cheap, I'm going to buy it anyway. I already own both Korg's and GForce's Odyssey clones but, for my money Korg's eats Oddity for breakfast so I've never really used it. OTOH, I can see myself using this quite a bit, at least for the next few weeks.

Sounds like the kinds of things that happen with vintage step sequencers. They could be flaky. Maybe its a well modelled analogue sequencer lol

The self-entitlement of people in this thread and kvr in general, is truly staggering. It should have 8 voices, not 6 blah blah blah…
If you don’t like something, just don’t buy it and move on. f**king hell![🤦♂️](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f926-200d-2642-fe0f.svg)
