You are correct.
The small number of SSL plugins that didn't work with the hot-fix... still don't work with the latest release.

I suppose the situation is what it is with all plugins using ilok. I could not install or use (crash upon scanning) any of my Softube nor Eventide plugins

ASUS' latest AMD AGESA AM5 PI 1.2.0.2a solved the Ilok issue for me. Wee.

ASUS/ASRock/Gigabyte now have BIOS(AGESA PI 1.2.0.2a) update for the X870 motherboards.
MSI is updating...

Awesome when i first saw your post there wasn't an update yet for my Asus board but I got the new beta bios installed now and everything seems to be working fine!

Not that I noticed. Pretty much Ilok's claim of a 'bug' was the only mention about the ordeal.

The Asus BIOS update does not resolve the iLok issue with the SSL plugins.

Did you try installing the new AMD chipset drivers and the newest version of ilok they released a couple weeks ago? SSL Vocalstrip which is the only plugin I use from them does now work when it didn't before. This is in Ableton Live.

I also had the latest x870 chipset drivers (6.10.17.152) installed prior to this bios release.

Have the latest BIOS, Chipset drivers, and iLok License Manager installed.

Most of the SSL plugins work fine (since the original hot-fix).
The handful that remained broken (post hot-fix) are still not working.
Tried in Reaper, the new Cakewalk Sonar, Nuendo 13, and Studio One

Just to make sure, it is AGESA 1.2.0.2a ?
The last time I checked the ASUS X670 motherboards still with AGESA 1.2.0.2
The ASUS X870 motherboards have the fixed AGESA 1.2.0.2a

Asus literally just released a Beta BIOS update (AGESA 1.2.0.2a).
The release day lists yesterday... but I didn't see it until today.
Installed... and it does appear to have resolved the issue.

iLoK is broken on all Ryzen 9000 series processors
