Add to that the PDC problems with rendering and there are still quite a few PDC problems to clear up.
I dont think the rack latency is related to PDC. But its definitely a problem. Straight PDC works fine on my system. I can plop SIR (or any other latency inducing plugin) on any track and it'll adjust it automatically. I can put SIR in a rack and use it as a send also. And I dont have rendering issues if I dont start my songs on Bar1. I dont have a UAD1 tho so I'm not sure about those issues.

I'm sure Jules cleared up some of the problems with rack latency. He certainly had enough time. :D

Coulda sworn the current Freeze already did that.... :?

Pretty exciting, nonetheless. :D I want it to be almost the same, but with a few powerful additions. Hope they fixed the Final Mix preset management buggle while they were at it. :D

I like how they incorporated Philip's drawing and the term "groundhog". Never again complain that you've gone unheard. <laff>

Something I'm missing from the very first day:

You select a step length eg. 8th or 16th and then you simply play the notes/chords on your keyboard. After each note/chord, the sequencer auto-advances to the next step. It's a Godsend for playing fast basslines and when I was using Cubasis (before Tracktion), I used this feature nearly always, because it saved me an extra working step for quantise.

HI

A slight 'Ableton Live' look?

Check back every week!

Looks interesting even to a non Tracktion user!

Ditto on the midi editing - if this is in order then who knows!

nope - Jules clearly answered that once with 'no' but said he would consider it for an update... ;-) :-)

If they write "check back every week" it's most certain that T2 will not be released in the next few weeks.
Possibly the development has just begun and they write the features they have already completed on that page

no, that's not possible...

I'm thinking about a commercial thing... If every people is checking the website every week to get some informations, the release will create a great buzz and Mackie will send a lot of T2... the snow ball effect... It's the continuation of what Mackie did with the NFR version of T1...

:o

Well, I have to admit... I don't read every single post that's ever posted here, nor do I remember back to an individual post from a year ago, in most cases. <chuckle>

However, last night (ie. before this response) I did a test myself, and you're right! It boggles the mind... not sure the reasoning behind keeping the plug-ins loaded if the track is rendered anyways. :?

HOWEVER again, I've obviously never noticed before, so I haven't been doing anything that's running me short on RAM and I only have 512MB to begin with!

What gave it away? The fact that the screenshots are so small and really don't show anything? Or the fact that we haven't shown you any of the really cool stuff yet?
