Compadre is now ordered and payed for
I notice the Synthedit logo. Is Compadre made purely out of Synthedit modules, or is there some of your own coding and/or custom modules rune_lh? Not that it bothers me in the slightest how it's made - it is a very capable compressor, simple as that, and I feel it's worth every cent.
But I've not heard any other Synthedit stuff for dynamics that sounds anything remotely as good as this before. If it's all Synthedit modules, then it just goes to show it's not what tools you use, but how you use them that gets results.
So far, Compadre is top of my "plugins of 2005" list.
I'm just so happy to see some real quality FX plugins coming out nowadays. There are quite a few synths to choose from in the top quality bracket, all emulating h/w character very well.
But the choice of FX in the same category is alot smaller, and compressors especially can be quite quirky. You're one of only 3 developers I can think of that have nailed h/w compression character within s/w....top marks.
