I agree a stick post like 'T2 release info' would be great and help a lot of people, but you still don't have to act like a jerk to everyone that asks a question. Saying 'everyone messes the forum up' when you just called another user a 'bitch' is pretty absurd.rpc9943 wrote:no im saying he should have a sticky post so people dont go around asking the same thing every 2 seconds

If everyone is asking every 2 seconds, then why would Mackie have answered just this one post?rpc9943 wrote:no im saying he should have a sticky post so people dont go around asking the same thing every 2 seconds

No flame here, I agreejalapeno wrote:I must confess that this Start/Stop marketing is odd. The buzz has nearly all gone, the striptease reveal stopped, no public beta test started yet. Odd.
Compare this to the stuff Popellerheads are doing for a fairly content-lite release of Reason 3. Flash movies, countdown clocks etc.
Wheel seems to be off the proverbial Mackie marketing wagon.
Yes I know this is a "Are we there yet ?" Groundhog post (look I'm hitting myself) but it strikes me as fairly futile to drum up all the buzz around NAMM and then fade away. (Awaiting the flame torrent)
Here's something weird, there are tutorials at linplug showing how to use the midiclips for rmiv for tracktion 2!
WHERES THE BEEF?

I agree, it would be nice to at least get more info on the new features.

Then you have no business telling people to stop asking questions if you can't give them an answer.rpc9943 wrote:look i dont have all the answers,
Yeah, it came across as real funny, eh? No emoticons, no nothing. Sounds like a deadpan ahole remark. One of these:rpc9943 wrote: and the bitch thing was obviously intentionally a funny joke

Helps. Also, The threat to have them PM you privately if they have a problem doesn't support your explanation. The right thing would be to admit you overreacted and gain some respect back with people.

So, when will Tracktion 2 actually be released?

Beno, thanks for the response. I think the problem is not that people are expecting the actual release, since that was stated for March already. But there was mention of a public beta, which you've already let us know will just be a demo. But it was said that we would have that in the weeks following NAMM. Now, this could actually mean that the demo will come with the release, which is fine. I think people are just expecting a demo in Feb.
By the way, is everything going alright Beno(non-T related)? I hope you're having a good day, and having fun playing with T2!

I guess it would be cool if there were some bigger screenshots and all that stuff-- and confirmation (beyond the Linplug site, which I haven't checked out yet) that RMIV full version will be included.
