Anyway, I noticed that a lot of the ads in CM and Music Tech show Tracktion as a sequencer

That's because it is a sequencer ... unless ... has Jules rewritten T2 to be a toaster???

Yes... with a lot of hard work it's possible to wrongly interpret the accent in that sentence...

I meant: Instead of FL, Cubase, Sonar, etc etc. Which are the usual actors in the ads.
