okay, good point. I am familiar with at least some of their stuff, plus I saw Bob on the Brits. Admittedly that's probably not enough expossure to sum up their entire output and deem them as shite, but it was enough to make me feel safe that I wasn't missing much.

They are. It's just that they are full with great but not billboard/top20/hitlist art. Or are you only into visual arts equavilent to radio hits? :)

Most people know of lots of old music. But unless it fits their actual interest in music, it will be hits that they know of.

Taking that stance, couldnt it be argued that you should learn your music theory since it pertains to yer "art"? I know you were very against learning music theory in a previous thread..
