Further to what ceenda posted, I fiddled with the color editor and found the solution by selecting MIDI (and/or Audio) strip, then positioning the circle in the color square to about dead center, then adjusting the alpha value to taste (I set it around mid-way).
Sorted. Thanks guys...

Speaking as someone who has no talent or knowledge whatsoever in that department, I would like to thank all the testers who made schemes.. recently I've only been switching back to classic colours when I've been grabbing screenshots for noobs!

I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but wouldn't it be nice to assign a project it's own scheme? You could use fiery schemes with intense, stuff, green and light blues for mellow stuff, etc. Anyway, if you consider aesthetics influence creativity, it would be nice to capture the mood.

which property is it for the 'inside' background of the vol/pan fader? i can change the filter background color, and can change the vol/pan 'line' color, but the main bit in the middle background is always green. at first i thought it couldn't be changed but some schemes have it different and i can't figure out which one it is!!

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Here's a quick Desert Camo scheme I cooked up (I liked the idea). I used the actual colors from US Army Desert Camo, but I took a few liberties with some of them.

Get it here.

Maybe you can do a cover of The Gap Band's "You Dropped a Bomb on Me".dealwithit wrote:Here's a quick Desert Camo scheme I cooked up (I liked the idea). I used the actual colors from US Army Desert Camo, but I took a few liberties with some of them.

I was already officially declared ghey for my affection to Mully's CreamLunch Money wrote: I think you need to give some of them another try. Mully's Cream (I smack my forehead every time I say that) is pretty nice, as well.

well it could be my color schemes..... well you can't adjust the color when the clip color is set to total white.... when it's with a bit of color you can but won't see muchtibenmik wrote:Some of these new color schemes disable the ability to color code clips in the edit...anybody else finding this? I haven't been able to find the parameter in the color editor that fixes this yet (help?)

since the rainbow is gone... I liked it better without the colors.... maybe Jules will put the clip colors in the scheme editor, too - would be cool

You had to name it 'Mully's cream' didn't you? I had to alter it a bit and rename it 'heterosexual light beige-ish' just to use it without feeling icky.
