Cant see what all the fuss is about really, and the GUI is way too small as it is. Spent about an hour messing with it, just sounds like an average synth to me.

Ah well, Krim... seems that this time you're wrong, deadly wrong!
This is an amazing piece of work, if you ask me.

Krim and Bones can't see anything good in this synth! Well everyone has an opinion, and I respect that!.....But they are wrong in this case!
Wow a Nord skinalike, this one is the best yet!

i figured BONES would say something like, "i like this better than 'my little killerz'".
and that krim would say, "this is definitely above average", or "it's not even shite".

It's very very good and it's free. I suspect it's too good and too free. This will clean out some folders. Some people may just sit on their cash until the hyped stuff catches up.tconrardy wrote:Willabong wrote:Krim and Bones can't see anything good in this synth! I like the Nord skin too. Thank you. FYI The knob pointer gets too dark to see in some places and it may not be nord like but I would prefer black on tan. I'm still waiting for that really pretty one from Majken or I'd do another one myself.

I agree with the bit about the pointer. I'll redo the knob graphics tomorrow with a white pointer instead of a grey one so it doesn't disappear when it goes into the shaded area of the knob. If you want black on tan though you'll have to do it yourself!tomg wrote:I like the Nord skin too. Thank you. Thanks to everyone for their comments so far!

Cool, I thought it might just have been me. I read about half the pages and didn't see anyone give any definitive reasons why its good but I figured that getting 12 or 13 pages in a day was probably a good indication that it has something to offer but...Kriminal wrote:Cant see what all the fuss is about really, and the GUI is way too small as it is. ... around half the GUI is devoted to effect parameters so that's krap for starters. Then everything has its own complex envelope, plus the 2 assignable ones, that has to be worked over to get what you want from it. I played around with it for a while without reading the manual and couldn't really get it to do what I wanted. Since I RTFM I've worked out why that may have been so I might be able to get something from it tonight but there was certainly nothing in the presets that got me anywhere near as excited as the rest of you and the GUI/workflow is hopeless. Still, its a reasonable first effort.
