Have you thought of like creating a mode with a sort of global tempo? Where at bal generation you define a ratio versus the tempo and that will control the speed of the ball? I think the screen would have to be square instead of rectangular, and the balls would also have to have predefined sizes, but at least it would be a start to having a method of order to the madness. :)
----And a way to put in your 3 letter initials, or mis-spell a bad word if you get a high score. :hihi: Sorry, more videogame jokes. :)

----Yeah, kinda like some sorta new age glitch ambient or something, I suck at genre labels ha-ha :hihi:
----The best part, other than just playing it like some mid 80's videogame ha-ha, is sticking your own samples in, to customize it. :)

Jeff
"new age glitch ambient" is not a bad definition,

and sticking your own samples in is surely the best way to
make something you like, <grin>

just mind the level and the length of the samples

that's interesting, Chris,
even though I like its "maddness" of boucing drive rhythms
a way to reduce it to some reason would be cool

Heheh, yeah it's a right bother with those spoiled ones, Oscillator 2 always manages to get wonky and go out of tune right in the middle of performance. ;)

-----To me, K-v-R is just a technological music stuffs website, one of, if not; the best. K-v-R = good for many things, let's try not to be closed minded, especially when it's free. :)

I was going to say that it'd be awesome if you could place a 'ball generator' with parameters for size, colour and rate (and maybe randomizers / lfo controls) so you can just set it up and leave it running. But it's hard to see a way of doing this while keeping the interface so clean...
It's a rave, Lewis!
