The rumor that it was impossible was just a farce. Beno did talk about this about a page or so back. He said that they are working on it, and that they could even try for having it in the initial release.

most likely, that will happen in a point release, at a later moment in time if they've not been talking about it. that'd be a big feature that would be flaunted pretty heavily, i'd think. what do you ladies think?

Podium was coded for dual core support in a week - I don't think Jorgen spent that much time on XT's implementation (although it was far from perfect).
This is stuff I clearly remember - I don't think it will be a MAJOR problem for Mackie to put this feature in, assuming the coder/s have a time space between now and release.
