not so great example but it's decent I guess... All sounds + processing comes from one instance of Hive

^don't take it as an "official" audio demo... it's just something fairly simple I was messing with last night... unfortunately I'm very busy atm and can't to any other demos now...

The look of hive is awesome.
I like Science Fiction looks.
The little sound demo told me:Sylenth 1 just 10x better and with u-he touch.

Bring it out I will buy it.
You going the right way.

U-HE erobert den EDM Markt.

Here's one more sound example. One instance of Hive with no external processing at all. As 3ee said, don't take this official as the sound will likely change before final release.

The style of music is not my cup of tea, but it sounds phenomenal for what it is. :tu: Low CPU as well for that quality - pretty impressive. Looking forward to test-driving Hive.

Thanks Ted. :) I used to listen to a lot of trance about a decade ago, not so much these days. However, it just felt right to make these kinds of sounds with Hive. The synth seems to really respond to these kinds of sounds (at least for me).

Here's another, one instance of Hive with no external FX, same disclaimer about sounds-may-change-before-release applies:

Regarding CPU, the monitor in Reaper shows around 0.6-0.8% CPU usage during playback of these projects. Hive currently has no multi-cpu or HQ settings so I'm just using what the defaults are.

Thanks for another sample. Again, sounds superb! I get the feeling this will sit and cut very well through a mix without sounding too cold and sterile. And with so little processing power used!

wow :hail:
very pleasant sounding. even at such high notes  it has a "crisp" character to it.
what "character" did you use (normal, dirty, clean)? what are the sonic differences between those?

Thanks for the sound demos, guys, appreciated. :)
