I was just coming in here to post this video.jojkobojko wrote: Sat Feb 05, 2022 9:40 pmAdam, get some inspiration of how to implement (granular) grain table here![]()
I've heard one of the formant warp modes in Rapid compared to the Virus, that might be a starting point for that.

I wish some mod matrix upgrade with more friendly locations of targets...

The import feature probably attracted a lot of new customers. It would be wise to invest time in developing it further, with the missing features from the TI, like the grain and formant oscillators, soft knobs, etc.

Sh!t, that's amazing, someone must bring it outside of Live!jojkobojko wrote: Sat Feb 05, 2022 9:40 pm Adam, get some inspiration of how to implement (granular) grain table here![]()
Yes, if that was inside of Viper that would be a whole new level of awesomeness. Grain and formant oscillators are one of the main reasons why I hold on to my Virus Snow.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Ollie also made a video with Viper creating almost the same sound:

Yes, it's a similar sound (and Ollie's videos are an awesome source of knowledge) but it's based on FM, Formant Shift has a bit different character

Nice tutorial, sweet spot was at 11:55 and i would assign this filter modulation to mod wheel not to lfo for better control and diversity.adamtrance wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:44 am Ollie also made a video with Viper creating almost the same sound:
My nonlinear dynamic system/technology is based on that idea to create dynamics within another dynamics, controlling modulators with complex interconnections.
Not sure how many user will even understand and use it,but works for me so can't go back making boring stuff anymore,so probably will make a set for Viper when have time and right mood.
Cheers

I have just acquired Viper and well it is a marvel.
Not yet tested importing Virus patches.
Viper is the worthy virtual representative of the Virus.
I felt the same emotions, sensations with Viper as with the Virus Ti2.
A wonderful job Adam, thank you for this simply exceptional Vst.
I highly recommend this vst to those who might hesitate.
I have an Armada of vst and Viper with a grain of hardware sound very different from my other vst.
Much more realistic, even if my other vst are also excellent bills.
Viper to this magic grain of the ti2 Virus.
Thanks to Adam for this simply excellent Vst.

Well, wow! Virus import! That is something! Not familiar with Virus but this is very impressive indeed
So, i know this is not exactly the right place to ask but, will you at one point update JP6K with all osc types? Feedback osc etc.

I plan to do a full jp8080 emulation in the future that emulates all oscs, effect, etc but that will have to be done from scratch so a completely new project, as it will be very different from jp6k.Halonmusic wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:12 pm So, i know this is not exactly the right place to ask but, will you at one point update JP6K with all osc types?
