You said one can send you a Virus bank to test the missing import in the demo.
How do I do this ? I can't send attachments here and through your homepage I haven't found a way either....

Hey Adam,
I suppose I can report small bugs/problems here.
I noticed when I "Init Preset" and then "Restore Preset", only the FX part of the preset gets restored, while the osc part still stays like init.
I'm not sure if that option was supposed to work after "Init Preset", I think it ought to restore to the patch stored in the bank

You are right, I will take a look. The restore preset is for when you tweak a few parameters but you dont like the result, you can "undo" them. When you init a preset, you clear all the result from the parameters and then they cannot be undone, so they shouldnt be able to restore themselves. Right now they do, but not all work, so I will definitely need to take a look.

I think they're just duplicates of the ones on the access site.

Adam, small question.
When I reset the arp, it sets default note as +36, which is quite high.
Looks like it has similar "step height" as default velocity of 100 (If I switch to other arp modes)
Is it Virus-like behavior, or it would be more reasonable to reset steps to note 0 when Arp Note mode is selected?
Would be just a small QoL improvement

Hi Den,

Yes thats right, this is also the way it works in the virus, however the "Arp Note" mode does not exist in the virus, so thats for viper only. You can sort of fix this issue if you create your own pattern with the values that you like and save it in the patterns folder, and instead of pressing reset on the arp, select your user pattern instead.

I've just compared the behavior of patch browser in Virus and Viper... Looks like Virus "forgets" preset changes after loading another preset. The same I can say about many other synths, so I assume it's a conventional behavior.

Saying that, I noticed another bug: let's say I
1) open the first preset,
2) change the amount of voices,
3) move to next one,
4) move to previous one.

At this point, "Restore preset" would keep in mind the state after 2, which was implicitly preserved after moving to next one.

I'd rather lose all changes during preset switching. On other hand, I understand that you might have wanted to preserve changes cause Viper has the Browser with preset overview, and would be strange to Init preset and then to see it overwritten to previous name after stepping to the next preset.

So, if you'd prefer to keep the existing behavior, I'd also ask for the "Restore Bank" item, next to the "Restore Preset" one
