Even if it did, it's an app and I don't use apps.

It's not that I wouldn't use an app. It's just that I have no way of integrating one into my DAW. I wouldn't even know how to.

I don't own an Ipad and my phone, which is an Android, doesn't seem to have a headphone jack. At least I can't find one.

I have no idea. I use my phone to make calls and occasionally text.vurt wrote: Sat Sep 12, 2020 1:35 pm well, that seems odd? does it have weird proprietary headphones like the iphone?

Go figure. It isn't a given that your next Android phone will have a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. ... Many of the best and most desirable phones available today just don't offer the port, despite being one of the most-requested features from smartphone buyers.

ah, yep, sounds like theyre going the iphone route.
so when you break/lose the headphones you have to buy theirs, with its useless connector that means no connecting with out board gear.
so peoplewho use those docks, again have to buy a company specific one. grrr.

7th track from my upcoming CD "Celestial Navigation"
And yet something different again. Been trying to mix this one up and still keep with the theme. Fans of "Lost In Space" may get a kick out of this one. Others, maybe no so much.
One more track to go and we're all done with this project.
Alpha Centuri
Trying to reach Alpha Centuri
Instead I end up lost in space
Here I am stuck with this stupid robot
Our space program is such a disgrace
Wondering if I'll ever get back home
Wondering what will become of me
Will I be forever stuck with this robot
Never to reach Alpha Centuri

Aaron:
These are for you to listen to. Anyone else is welcome as well. It's old stuff that never got any comments.
Temperature's Rising
The heat is on
I can't hold back any longer
The love is gone
The pain it just makes you stronger
And I know that it's coming soon
Round the bend in the month of June
So beware cause I'm coming after you
Temperature's rising
And the passion has reached it's limit
There's no turning back now
And you're either out or in it
You can't cool down
Temperature's rising
You can't escape
I'll find you wherever you go
You call it hate
I call it love through a window
I can see that you're sweating hard
You can run but you won't get far
So beware cause I know just where you are
Repeat Chorus
Instrumental Break
Repeat Chorus
Instrumental Fade Out

The Cornfield
Mama used to sing me the sweetest songs
But mama didn't hang around too long
Daddy took her away
To the cornfield the other day
She never came back and daddy disappeared
I always thought that seemed just a little weird
But I never said a word
Twas the last thing I ever heard
Until late one night
When the moon was shining bright
And mama walked into the room
Drinking whiskey and riding her broom and she said
Hide this gun before the law does come
Cause they're never gonna find your daddy son
I planted him in the cornfield with the scarecrows
He tried to do me in but I took that grin
And wiped it off his face with a fifth of gin
Yeah that's the way the story goes
Planted him in the cornfield with the scarecrows
Repeat Pre-Chorus and Chorus To Fade

wagtunes,
Thank you for the reviews! Now listening to "Temperature's Rising" (well it has been pretty hot at times this summer). Can't figure out what the main synth/keyboard is, but it sounds very nice. Vocaloid (I assume) vocals actually work well on this song. I dig the lead synth at ~2:35. The melodies are very good. Around 3:15, I got goosebumps, so it doesn't get much better than that! Very nice song, I really think this is one of your better songs overall.

wagtunes,
Now listening to "The Cornfield": this is a much different style than the other song. For whatever reason (now I know, this song is more guitar oriented), I think the Vocaloid (I assume) vocals worked better in "Temperature", but not bad. Assuming the guitars are not real, but they are working quite well! Nice strings. Nice melodies, and nice song, though I like "Temperature" better overall. Keep at it, as I'm sure you will.
