It was put up before people knew it would be a u-he thing. I think it's erased from wikipedia, isn't it?

Nope, just read it a few minutes ago. Guess I should read that novel, too.

Getting great milage out of the demos at the moment ... the flanger is really rocking my world, I've been searching out a decent one for a while now. They are always "too much" or "too little" or "Just Not Right". Uhbik-F is exactly on the money.

The filter does some wonderful (and bad!) things to drum loops - combining Runciter with Uhbik P + F and an endless Uhibik-D for makes for some really sonic, spacey sound scapes ... the addition of the "X factor" is going to be out of this world!

Also looking forward to hooking up surround mode - something very different to explore.

Really excellent plugs all round, nice one :)

Peace,
Andy.

Had to avoid the Christmas rush and pick up a license of this little bundle. Three ghosts came to me in the night and showed me how empty my life was, is and will be without it. God bless us all! Everyone!

You can rename them

You only can't do that with AudioUnits though...
are you tied into your current naming?
Cause I too prefer what you have above.....

yes we can change it, but everytime there is an update we will have to change it again....

I mean the bundle should be called Uhbik but instead of Uhbik-A it would be Uhbik-revUHrb (or something).

I guess I'll change the names myself but then the VSTs on my Mac will have different names. I know this is nit-picky and not terribly important, but wouldn't it be nicer if each plug in had it's own name? What if your parents gave you and your siblings letter designations?

The world of the Uhbik exists in reality. It does not conform to your illusions. You must first accept that everything you "know" is a lie and throw it out the door.

are we in the matrix? :-)

Yeah I added that. I thought you were making Uhbik as a sort of alternate company. It looks like it's been removed, along with the whole section it was in.

BTW, you don't need to be a member of Wikipedia to alter the info. That is, I guess, the strength and the weakness of Wikipedia. I still recall fondly the excellent information on my nation's first Prime Minister's mother's vagina that was a part of Wikipedia... for a short time.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Here's a bit of the graphic work for the manual:

http://www.u-he.com/Uhbik_Guide.pdf

This is more or less supposed to become the quick reference for each effect. In addition to the graphic we have 3-5 pages of text for each plugin, plus an extra chapter on the lfo used in F, P and T.

What do you think?

;) Urs

P.S.: Funny, when stepping through the pages one can see how some gui elements don't sit tight from Uhbik to Uhbik... I think I'll leave it that way, for some extra analogue feel :hihi:

Post

in uhbik-P's reference page it refers to slow "flanges" on the LFO time control... Because it was copy-pasted from uhbik-F's page...

Post

It's on uhbik T as well.

Being picky here: The shadow of the pointer-lines is too dark (or too light), on the white background it is the same grey as the line, making it visually muddy.

Otherwise: Nice :-)

I look forward to the "3-5 pages" for each plugin for the more tasty bits ;-)

Now that I know this, am I supposed to throw or not throw?
