GREAT vocal plugin for serious debreathing or special fx.
FWIW -- I think that Doubler, which is in the MB is a genuine desert-island plug. It alone is easily worth the $49.

What about the rest of the bundle. I've got other plugs that already do delay/flange/chorus/IR. Are the Waves plugs, even at discount, worth getting?GreyLion wrote:Damn! And IR-L and MB1 on sale extra cheap. Thanks, Theo!ttoz wrote:Waves debreath is selling for $18

Does anyone know what kind of authorization is used and how many machines it can be installed?

C/R, same for S1a...Each Studio One Pro license entitles you to 5 activations on a MAC or PC. This means that you can install S1 on up to 5 systems on a single key. If you wish to install S1 on more than 5 systems, you will need to acquire another key.

I've always been in love with the Liquid Gate from that bundle, especially as it was one of the few that have a "Range" knob.GreyLion wrote:Nomad Factory Liquid Bundle II.
I'd love to hear any thoughts on it in the Discussion thread, since I'm kinda getting maybe too picky about these things lately...
Yeah, I know, "today's major hosts have a dry/wet fader", but they don't do the same because the "dry" of the host's fader is the "unprocessed and undelayed" signal going into the plugin, and the "wet" part of the host's fader is the "processed and delayed" signal coming out of the plugin. So the host's dry/wet fader will probably result in 2 signals and an audible echo. A "plugin internal" dry/wet fader (as is the "Range" knob) will NOT introduce an echo.
Never liked the looks of it, but whatever.
IMO, the Gate itself is worth 15$ (not 89$ as on their website, though) and maybe the rest of the plugins has improved.
So for me, this really is a no-brainer.
Only thing that really f*cks me up is that they're non-iLok anymore. Before, you could choose between C/R or iLok auth.
I absolutely HATE having to download, install, login, copy/paste, wait, hope, and finally waste 1 authorization of 4 or so, just because I want to use the plugin one-time-only outside of my usual recording scenario. I prefer download, install, plug-in iLok - works.
But I guess iLok protection just became too expensive for them over time.
Never had any problems with AudioMIDI while ordering, paying or retrieving the things I bought.
Also, I live in Germany and don't understand why they mention everywhere that they can't accept international PayPal payments... I always pay with PayPal, and even my PayPal address is "Germany". Never had any difficulties as of yet, and even a couple of minutes ago when I bought the bundle, my PayPal told me that the transfer went fine.
So no clue what that's all about.

My experience is that you've really got to watch wording like this.kitekrazy wrote:Thanks. 5 machines is quite generous.Lo- wrote:From Presonus Knowledge Base:kitekrazy wrote:Studio One Artist for $29.

What this usually means is that it's not 5 machines but 5 activations - how you spread them around is up to you.
If your PC crashes you loose an activation.
If you have a dual boot system - that's 2 activation right there.
So if you use all 5 activations and one of your systems crashes you'll have to buy another key to get it activated on that system.
How generous this is depends on how many computers you use and how stable they are and how soon you plan on upgrading them.
BTW I am not bashing this kind of licensing, you just need to be aware of how it works.

I'm thinking of buying the Nomad Factory Liquid Bundle deal from audiomidi. Is it iLok or C/R?
I tried to find out but the info seems inconclusive. I won't buy if it's iLok but I don't mind other types of protection.

Just an FYI -- and to be honest, to gloat a tiny bit -- I got my order delivered today from Juno for the K7 Elements box. It was indeed the original version with 12 GB of samples, a $60 coupon, extra patches for various instruments, and so on.
Took them about 2 weeks to deliver, price was about $63. They were indeed clearancing the old boxes, but only have the new ones on order now.
This adds Juno to my list of vendors to check out for killer deals in the future.
Happy shopper, here!

Wondering what users thoughts are behind the recent spate of promotionsetc. Is it to make on the WUP, iLok2 issues, charge for x64bit versions (which I understand are due to be free under existing WUPs) or something elsein the pipe line?
