zerocrossing wrote:Urs, at this point I buy your products automatically because of their consistantly excellent quality, your attention to customer service (you actually treat your customers like you like having them!) and you're a really nice guy. These things are often hard to come by. The money I used to buy Ace was earmarked for the Gladiator expansion but that can wait. Tone2 will treat me as if I cracked it regardless of when I buy it.

:hihi:

Urs dose make great plugins! but his PR skills are second to none!!

& the amount of useful updates i have had with zebra2 are amazing!!

Zebra 2.5 should be Zebra4.0 at least!!!!

how this man dose it & has a wife is bewildering

Berlin Modular (including Bazille, some sort of "ACE XL" and what not) will be an upgrade to ACE. The upgrade price will be the exact difference in price between ACE and that. If I ever finish Berlin Modular. I'm quite confident though.

Thanks Urs. I'm quite confident that you will make it to!

I haven't purchase a plug in a long time, 98% done with things I made in Reaktor for the last couple of years, 2% Battery, but this was really wonderful. I'm having a blast with it thus far. Patching things up is very easy.

One question I looked quick through the manual but didn't see anything is there a way to lower the transparency on the cables so I can see the values under them?

If you right click on an input jack and scroll all
the way to the bottom it gives you various cable
options.

The price of ACE will be discounted from the total cost of Berlin Modular. ACE & Bazille are part of Berlin Modular, or will be in some form.

Is there a global option for the quality setting? Or is that only per patch?

Post

AFAIK it's only per patch - because the setting can have a distinct and sometimes desirable effect on the sound.

Andy.

If I read the manual correctly, there is no global setting in Ace.

I have to admit; I downloaded the bazille beta and it went straight over my head. I've never seen a modular synth before, so it was a little confusing. This, on the other hand, has allowed me to grasp the basics. I just might be able to get bazille now :hihi:

It's a joy to tweak this; lots of fun. It can turn from quirky to nasty in very few increments. Absolutely top notch sound too. A few visual bugs with the wires (FL Studio 9 ), but it is a beta...

If only runciter was this filter module. The filter is brilliant! I would love to see a fully realised version of the filter as a standalone. Sweet :D

John
