wow :hail:
very pleasant sounding. even at such high notes  it has a "crisp" character to it.
what "character" did you use (normal, dirty, clean)? what are the sonic differences between those?
Hey supernova, thanks for the knd words.

I used clean for both sounds. Its hard to tell all the differences between the three and I think Urs is still finalizing the complete set. He's been to busy to explain it. Most of what I've discovered is through trial and error.

I will say that I find the sweet spot for several controls is much easier to find than, say, zebra. A big part of that is the very simple layout and routing defaults. The workflow immediacy reminds me a bit of Vanguard from re:fx about 8 years ago..

Hello, Urs and co. And kvr!

Is there going to be a public beta?

It's terrible Urs - sticking out a private beta and not making the beta testers sign an NDA so they can come on here and torment us with their tales :D

Both the mp3 examples sound cool, I actually like 3ee's better since it's a bit *different*. But seeing the UI has an -arp- section has gotten my attention. The demo will be = tried extensively. And hopefully before I havta return to school Jan. 5th ha-ha. :hihi:

Hehehe, it's unfortunate that we have to do this. A public beta must be solid enough that a project made with it sounds the same with the final version. That's not the case at the moment.

We currently also have a list of about 10 bugs to fix and 12 features to finalize before going public. It's a tough call, but it may be doable within two weeks.

Oh no...it's "THE ARP!" The one that we must have heard two dozen versions of in that Zebra vs. Virus thread that was hot around the time I started coming here semi-regularly seven years ago, hehe. But your take on it with Hive sounds good - nice sample!

 Well spotted! I had the midi file on my HD and wanted to see what Hive could do with it. It's a relatively simple patch with 5 automation lanes for osc volume, filter env amount, filter decay, osc detune, and phaser dry/wet. Hive has a very hands-on feel to it that rewards this kind of knob twiddling.

Very Sylenthish

Nice melody and sound, I love this oldschool trance vibe.

We've seeded almost-a-beta to our closed beta team. This is necessary because we rather contain serious bugs (10+ left) or flaws with a few dozen people than with a few thousand. We'll go for public testing as soon as we're convinced that the sound won't change, i.e. that a preset saved with a song/project will recall exactly as it was made when the final version comes out.
