Would you please add - when installing any SM versions - an input so 'we' can choose where we want SM to install 'all reference' the folders, you forcibly install within My Documents in windows?

I never really understood this.
Is there a 'particular' reason why you do not wish to do it and you never shared why?

Ps I am really using it very little these days and I forgot why!
Until I started to re-use it after I upgraded from SM 1+ 2 to 3.
Users cannot handle preset easily, in a application 'heavily' using preset?
I do not understand it. Please do it ASAP, as I wasted money - not using it a lot now and also wasting time on presets...yes, I saw the workarounds, I did not pay for the workarounds!

Is there another Application that allows saving presets in the 'normal' way and that allows setting application the way 'users' want and need?

What is wrong with saving user specific data under my documents folder ??? You are not forced to save presets under my documents folder by the way.

If you want to change the location of user specific data (my documents/synthmaster3 folder) please edit the following file:

Windows: c:/users/public/public documents/synthmaster3/synthmasterfolders.txt

Mac: /users/shared/synthmaster3/synthmasterfolders.txt

Please edit the line for: UserDocumentsFolder

My Documents folder has become unusable because a lot of developers think its a good idea to create a new folder there, and and now I can't find any of my own files or folders. The proper place to store stuff like this would be under %APPDATA%.

I had to create a new folder where I save my actual documents.

That IS already possible as I said above, you need to edit SynthMasterFolders.txt file:

i still can´t update the expansion bank i got on acquiring synthmaster3 beta. its an ubukata expansion and it is listed in my account, but the "Japans Vintage" expack is not reckognized on "restore my preset bank". it says i dont have any expack in my account

I tried the demo version (in reaper 7) but it seems very buggy, especially when using custom samples. When I load my samples, the sample info (loop start, end, etc) is often wrong and the sound is broken, and clicking in the waveform display in the sample editor makes the plugin crash. Besides, I don't know why, but settiing the midi channel of the layers doesn't seem to work. For example, if I set layer 2 to midi channel 2, it will still respond to any midi channel (as in omni mode)

Hi, since SM3 is beta and all the features are implemented, as far as I understand it, it would be nice if you could add a NKS mapping at least, so we can use Kontrol series with SM3. Or is there such a mapping already? Is this then named "NKS ready"? I have no idea. Can SM3 export presets or even directories / banks to NKS?

I'm really loving where SM3 is heading but it still feels too beta to really dig into. But SM2 is still f**king awesome so I'm content and really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Are you using SM2 to do this? Not sure why, but this is I got my expansions into SM3. Kinda confusing and would be very frustrating if one didn't own SM2 as well.

When you purchase SM3, it includes a license for SM2 as well.

Could you possibly send me those wav files? Loop points are read correctly (I am saying this as I tested many many times)
